I believe H5P tools would be very useful in the classroom. In grade 8, my friend made an interactive Youtube video for our French class, where we as a class had to choose what we felt like doing that day. I recall being so impressed and interested that I did not want the activity to end. I believe that the use of H5P tools will help keep students engaged and put a fun twist on learning in the classroom.

Multimedia Learning Theory can help us create more effective instructional videos and tutorials, because it accommodates different learning styles. Students learn in different ways; therefore, using both auditory and visual instruction may better suit a range of learning abilities. Students that are able to see and listen to videos are also more likely to retain information for tests and assignments.

Flipping the classroom makes students do more work at home, allowing for more interactive learning during class time. I believe that a Flipped Classroom model would work best for older students (grades 6 and up). This is because younger students may struggle learning independently and could require a higher level of structure, direction and explanation.
