Thanksgiving Long Weekend

Thanksgiving Long Weekend

I did not do very much for the Thanksgiving long weekend. On Saturday, me and my dad went for a 4km run around the UVic chip trail. After that I went to my girlfriend’s house and we made lettuce wraps and pumpkin cheesecake. The next day, I went up to the Camosun college library and did some of my homework. I often go to the Camosun library on weekends, because it’s quiet, I usually am able to get quite a bit of work finished and it’s walking distance from my house. That night my family had a plan to go to my grandmas for roasted ham, coleslaw, fresh tomatoes from the garden, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, gravy, pumpkin pie and apple pie, but unfortunately my mom got sick, so we were unable to go. As my grandma, aunt, uncle and cousins ate the fancy dinner, me, my dad, my sister and my mom ate stew. After super, my dad and I played the ukulele for about an hour to practice for my music class. The next morning I had my first track workout of the year, which took about two hours. Then I went home and did some homework. In the afternoon my aunt brought over my grandma’s homemade pumpkin pie for us to try. That night I went over to my girlfriend’s house and we watched the movie “Tangled” (great movie!), and that was the end of my weekend.
